Balance: Sudden loss of and/or change in overall balance, with difficulties sitting, standing, or walking

Eyes: Sudden changes in vision including blurriness, seeing double, or loss of your periphery

Facial Droop: When asked to smile is one side of the face lower than the other?

Arms: Sudden onset of weakness, numbness or tingling in one arm (or leg)

Slurred Speech: Difficulties speaking including slurred words, garbled speech, and knowing what you want to say but the inability to get your words out

Time: Call 911 or get to the hospital immediately! Time is of the essence and can possibly reverse your symptoms if treated quickly enough (depending on the type of stroke)
